Responsible Agentic AI for the Industrial Sector

AI Ethics & Compliance Statement: AuctoSource

Version 1.1 – March 2026

At AuctoSource Strategic Procurement Management, we believe that Agentic AI is the future of procurement, provided it is deployed responsibly and transparently. We commit to the guidelines of the EU AI Act and the GDPR to safeguard the integrity of your supply chain and corporate data.

1. Human Control (Human-in-the-Loop)

Our AI agents are designed to support procurement professionals, not replace them.

  • Decision-Making Authority: Critical decisions, such as final contract awards or payment approvals, always require human validation.
  • Intervention: Users have the ability to overrule or terminate AI-driven actions at any time.

2. Transparency & Explainability

We do not operate with "black box" systems.

  • Traceability: Our systems log the data sources and logic that lead to specific procurement advice or sourcing proposals.
  • Identification: In accordance with Article 50 of the EU AI Act, we always make it clear when an interaction or analysis has been generated by an AI system.

3. Data Security & Privacy

Your intellectual property and procurement data are safe with us.

  • Data Isolation: We never use customer-specific data to train public AI models. Your competitive advantage remains within your organization.
  • Privacy by Design: Our solutions are configured to minimize the exposure of personal data and comply with strict European privacy legislation.

4. Ethics & Bias Reduction

We strive for fair competition and objective procurement.

  • Supplier Selection: Our algorithms are regularly tested for unintended bias to ensure a fair evaluation of global suppliers.
  • AI Literacy: We continuously invest in our team's expertise to meet legal requirements for AI knowledge and safety.
